Little Miss Valentine

I love crocheting! This last weekend we went on a small trip and had a 4 hour drive there. So, I decided to do a little crocheting on the way there. I decided our new girl needed a Valentine hat.

On the way back I started a dinosaur hat for our son. Just have to finish it so I can post it.

Tomorrow I will be starting a week of crocheting for charity. I'll be crocheting every day and donating what I make to a woman & children's shelter. So look for my posts on what I'm making to help out others :)

Wow, where have I been?

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. So, what have I been doing?
Having a baby

We had another little girl on January 6th and she is a little cutie. Her siblings can't get enough of her.

So, what else have I been doing? Crocheting like crazy. I've been crocheting hats, blankets, booties and little mittens for the baby. I'll post some pictures of the things I've been working on. Maybe even share some of the patterns.

I also just wanted to add, look out for a revamp of my blog and some GIVEAWAYS :)

One of the ways that I love to relax is knitting. I don't do your regular needle knitting, I do loom knitting. I've been loom knitting for about a year, but I've really just begun getting my creative juices flowing with it. Pretty much anything you can make on regular knitting needles, you can do on a loom.
Here's some of the recent projects that I've made:

This is an acorn hat I made for my 18 month old son. He loves this thing and he actually keeps it on.

Here's a Bunny Rabbit hat I made. I haven't decided who to give it to yet.

This is a Spring hat I made for my 4 yr old daughter.

This is the hat I just finished this weekend for my 7 yr old daughter. She loves it so much that she wears it inside, too.

This is Mary Jane Booties I made to match the Bunny Rabbit Hat.

I got my knitting loom at JoAnn Fabrics. I used one of their 40% off coupons to buy them for super cheap.
